The nutritional information in each recipe post plays a huge part of this website and it is important that you understand where I get my information and why yours may differ.
In each recipe post, I try my best to provide as much information as possible, which includes ingredients, instructions and nutritional information such as calories, protein, fats, carbohydrates, etc.
This allows you to filter recipes which are best suited to you.
However, you could buy the same ingredients listed on this website and your information will most likely not be exactly the same.
One of the main reasons is because there are many brands and variations of the same ingredient.
I live in the UK and buy my ingredients from local supermarkets, and I use MyFitnessPal to record recipes by scanning barcodes, searching their index or manually creating recipes using nutritional labels on the packaging.
I will then insert this information into my recipe posts.
This should give you a close indication that a recipe is “under 400 calories” or “high in protein”.
I hope this helps and if there is any error you spot, feel free to contact me.
